Are Dollar Store toys worth it? You might want to read this before your next Dollar Store trip. Toy test time.
Wild Creatures Wall Crawler
There were other bug options, and they were all so cute. They did just as they should. Throw/fling against the wall and watch it flip down.

Make-It Blocks
Dollar Trees version of Lego blocks.
Quality items! They work just fine. Take apart and build as expected.

Jewelry Holder
They had a few of these crafty kits, like “tie-dye hair tie” but we went with this marbel-looking jewelry holder kit. Seemed promising, but didn’t achieve the marbling look. Maybe not following the directions would have worked better.

Outdoor Fun – Build-A-Bubble
There are a few instructions for this, but it works! Bubbles were able to be solid enough to hold and build. But what kids don’t want to try to hold bubbles?

2-in-1 Bubble Fan
Since we were doing outdoor bubbles I threw this one in, though it was not from Dollar Tree, but Target’s dollar spot.
The bubble solution is in the handle of the fan. It seemed pretty promising but we just couldn’t get it to work right and though it still could make bubbles it didn’t do what it was supposed to do.

Magic Water Painting
These are actually a dupe for the Melissa and Doug brand’s “Water Wow.” Knowing what I knew it was hard not to compare but had to grab it. I actually found a huge box of these with different options. They had far more pages in this book, and the pages were a bit thinner than the Melissa and Doug, but it worked!
Thumbs Up
I have actually done this post in YouTube format quite a bit, but it’s really popular and requested a lot, especially since the stores still have some of these items, so if you are wanting more, check out this Playlist.
